Mummy had left us exactly four years ago. Pa called me while I was getting ready to go to the hospital at wee hour. He said Mummy's oxygen level was dropping rapidly. We rushed to her room but late by few minutes. We were at her side the previous night. I asked Darrien to sing to her. He sang ABC song and few lullabies. Jacob was one year old at the time and he was confused to watch the whole episode. I kissed Mummy on her cheek. I hugged her. I told her I loved her. Not to know it was the last moment I would see her alive.
I went back for Qingming on the Holy Thursday's evening. By Saturday morning, we drove to the cementery. We used dampened cloth to clean away dirt on Mummy's resting place. We said a little prayer.
We drove back soon after. We dropped by Rejang Park to buy some kompia home. I used to live in Rejang Park till I was nine. The place did not change much. Almost looked the same since 30 years ago.

| My previous house was located at the end of the road |
The sundry shop which I frequented to buy chicken feed was still there.
It was a delightful trip down memory lane. We watched the kompia making process enthusiastically. i was amazed to see the men sticking the kompia dough into the furnace to be cooked,
using their bare hands.
We went back home where Pa cooked me a bowl of mee sua before departing back to Miri.
Till I come back Sibu again..
