Day 9 of birth

It was raining cats and dogs for the past one month. My Loropetalum was growing well and flowering nicely. I had trimmed it few months earlier, learning how to make it into a bonsai shape.

On Day 9, Angeline's third SB result was 18.8. It prompted Wife to bring her to Hospital Miri to be admitted. I went down to Miri after work at 5pm, to reach hospital at around 8pm. Famished but the feel good factor seeing Wife and Angeline made me forgot about the world affair.

I went back to take bath. I had dinner prepared by my mother in law and went off to hospital to be with them. I admired Wife's motherly instinct. She hardly managed to get any sleep while I just dozed off. Though intermittently Wife woke me up to take diaper and stuff as she had difficulty getting off the bed. On the next day, SB was reduced to 18.0. Not good enough to be discharged as the target SB was 15.0. On Saturday, her SB reduced further to 16.5. I was exhausted. i wished not to be in hospital anymore. I asked Wife if it was possible for us to repeat the SB in the evening. At around 6.30pm, SB was taken. The result was 16.3.

We asked to be discharged. Wife had not taken bath for 48 hours. Everyone was tired. The ward staff said that SB should be repeated the next day. On Sunday afternoon, we went to the ward for the baby's test. SB was still in reducing pattern with result 15.6. Thank God. I really cannot imagine to stay in the ward for another day, as the doctor said if SB continued to rise, baby Angeline needed to be admitted again. Phew..
