A day of a stay at home dad's life

5.45a.m.   -   Wife's alarm went off. Mine is always on silent mode no matter how Wife nags about it. Darrien needs to be forced to wake up. As long as he can get off the bed, he automatically goes to take bath and brush his teeth.

6.15a.m.   -   We get into the car and off we go to the Lutong market for his one and only packed noodle. I bought breakfast for Wife and one and only first-stall-fried kuey tiaw for Jacob. I usually will walk Darrien to his classroom while passing him RM2 for his pocket money.

6.45a.m.   -  Take a glimpse of my Loropatelum and Torenia.

6.47 a.m.    -   Jacob is much harder to drag out from the bed. He is the last person to doze off in the room. Running and exploring every single items in the room are his routine before coaxing himself to sleep.

7.15a.m.   -   Some quiet time before baby awakes. At times, she is awake. Hence, I brought her in my arms around the house while waiting for her bath time.

8.30 a.m.   -  It's mandi time. Guess I had done time more than a hundred times.

Between  8.45 a.m. to 12.45 p.m.. - First mlk drinking session of the day. Nap time. I used to clean the house during these hours. Laundry time. Preparing lunch. Thank God, Wife has a helper to do all the domestic chores. Leaving me with much loitering time.

1.00 p.m.   - Time to strap baby to her car seat and off we go to fetch Gogo Darrien.

2.30 p.m.   -  After getting Darrien to eat his lunch and sending him to tuition place, I prepare Angeline for her third nap.

3.30 p.m.   -  No clothes need to be folded and ironed, I prepare for dinner. Fried brinjal with garlic is a melt in your mouth dish!

4.00 p.m.   -  It's bath time again for Angeline.

4.30 p.m.   -  Leaving baby with helper, I off to fetch Darrien from his tuition class and Jacob from his kindergarten.

5.30 p.m.  -  Swimming time for the boys.

7.00 p.m.   -  Dinner time and I just started learning Mandarin from Darrien after promising to do so two months ago.

9.00 p.m.   -  Light's off

Angeline is rolling over

Angeline will be 4 months old next week. Early of the week, she had successfully rolled from her back to belly. It is such a delight to see her progress week after week. Month after month. Wife made some plans for me. It is better to stay together than being a weekend parent.

She is currently drinking Nestle NAN Pro 1. 4 ounces every three to four hours. Wife tried to breast fed her whenever she wants but supply is getting lesser day by day.

Angeline can hold her head

Angeline behaved herself  in baby seat when I went to fetch Darrien, when she was 12 weeks old.

At week 13, she was comfortable sitting on the bouncer, mesmerized by the hanging toys.
